Now in its fourth year, the Evening of Art+Science project at the University of Michigan connects two dozen leading contemporary artists with U-M’s most eminent biomedical researchers for conversations about the intersection of discovery and creativity in their respective disciplines. The talks inspire one-of-a-kind, boundary-breaking works of art that capture the genius of both worlds.
In April, the artwork will be auctioned at a ticketed gala to benefit groundbreaking cancer research at U-M.
In this March 29 preview lecture, one of the artist-scientist pairs — Alison Wong and Rajesh Rao, MD — will share what they have learned from this innovative and enriching partnership.
All are welcome for the lectures, followed by Q&A and refreshments. Kindly RSPV to TaubmanArtScience@umich.edu
