New Coloring Pages From UMMA Let You Be The Artist

New Coloring Pages From UMMA Let You Be The Artist

If you’re stressed right now–and truly, who isn’t?!–you might want to give coloring a try.

Whether you’re worried about exams, the holidays, relationships, or just, you know, the state of the world these days, taking a few minutes to mess around with colored pencils might be just what your brain needs. According to Beaumont Hospital, coloring can reduce anxiety and improve your focus. Also, it’s a great no-electronics way to unwind before bed (since emitted light can mess with your sleep cycle).

Print off a few pages and stick them in your backpack for a study break. We’ve recently added several more coloring pages to our Exchange resource here, including images of Orion, Behind the Walls, and scenes of people in the galleries. Have ideas for more? Email us at umma-press@umich.edu and we’ll consider them for our next batch.

But even if coloring isn’t your thing, you can still join us December 9–12 for Study Days at UMMA. This annual event has free food, yoga, and more to help you relax and prepare for final exams.
