Traditional Textiles Scarves
The designers work with traditional textile artisan communities in the Indian states of Rajasthan, Kashmir and Gujarat to develop the scarf patterns using time honored techniques like woodblock printing and bandhani tie-dying. The Cubebot is a wooden toy robot inspired by Japanes Shinto Kumi-ki puzzles. Made from wood and elastic, Cubebot can be positioned to hold dozens of poses. This is a classic toy reinvented in wood and elastic.
